Questions
Does it need permission to every website?
No, and that is deliberate. Reloading a tab on a timer needs no site access at all — the extension asks the browser to reload, it never reads the page. You grant access to one site only when you want the on-page countdown or keyword monitoring there, and you can revoke it per site from the options page.
Does it keep working when I close the browser?
No. It runs in your browser, which is what lets it watch pages behind your login. If you need round-the-clock checks on a public URL, use a hosted monitor such as our sibling product Pulse.
Do you collect the pages I visit?
No. Rules and hits live in your browser. If you turn on cloud sync, we store the rules you wrote and the hits they produced — never a list of the sites you browse.
Will it get past a captcha for me?
No. It can detect that a captcha appeared and pause so you can deal with it, but it will not attempt to solve or bypass one.
What happens when my subscription ends?
Pro features go read-only for a few days rather than vanishing — your rules keep running, you just cannot add new ones. Nothing you configured is deleted.
Does the free plan expire?
No. Unlimited timed reloads, the on-page countdown, all the refresh options and three keyword monitors stay free.
Chrome froze my background tab and refreshing stopped.
Chrome's memory saver discards tabs it thinks are idle. The extension notices and reloads the tab to bring it back. Keeping the window visible, or turning on 'keep the computer awake' in options, makes it rarer.
